This is an entertaining story about the unchangeable Ramona-- full once again with her hilarious escapades and tragic (to her) circumstances. As bewitching as ever, Ramona is now in the fourth grade, has a new baby sister, and a new best friend. To top it off, she
also has her first "crush". There are many funny happenings in the story that will have you laughing out-loud. This is easy reading material, with a simple yet catching story that the student's will that student's will relate to... especially as they move through the 4 grade themselves.
Ramona has struggles in school, and some changing circumstances at home as Beezus begins to grow older, and Ramona is occasionally in charge of her baby sister. Some students may be going through things like this themselves. Can be read aloud in the classroom or enjoyed by oneself. One thing to note is that girls may enjoy reading this book more than boys, since the main character is a girl and some of her problems will be more girl-oriented.
