Stanley Yelants is sentenced to serve time in a detention camp for stealing a pair of shoes. He really didn't steal the shoes, but what judge is going to believe a young kid. While at the detention camp, he learns a lot about himself and other there. This is a great book about courage and strength. Great book for reading aloud to a class.
