Ella Enchanted by Call

| This book a spin-off of Cinderella. You don't
notice it while reacting the book until you get to the end of the book and
little pieces start to show the similarities. |
| The main character is Ella and when she is born
she is given a gift of obedience by a flighty fairy. She must obey, any
command given to her, whether it's hopping on one foot for a day, or
chopping off her own head. The book goes through her problems with this
so-called gift as she gets older and people discover her secret. The
setting is mystical with fictional creatures which adds much to the story.
This book would be difficult for slow readers because there are parts where
the elves in the book speak in their language which is hard to be pronounced
in English. |
