I worked at a day care this summer and this was one of the children's favorite book and mine. The illustrations are great.

The story line is very cute. At one point the monster says his monster mama protects him from the "scary things". The humans are the scary things in the book.

A story about a little monster who's mother loves him, and he lists the ways she loves him throughout the book.
