| Name of this Site: When I was NJ State
President ('95 to '97) the name of my newspaper column was Pawprints.
I have two very spoiled cats so this seemed appropriate. I
appreciate Delta Kappa Gamma because each member can truly be an
individual. |
| Indianapolis, Indiana: I
had the privilege of attending the Regional Conference in Indiana
this Summer. I did miss all the European flags that used to
part of our Region, but I am excited for their independence. I
was honored to present my workshop on clinical depression to about
25 women. It is my goal to share about my illness to help
others understand the illness better. |
| I was also thrilled at the Banquet to see our
immediate past State President, Beth Ann Richey, escort our new
President, Doris Lambert. Doris has worked hard through many,
many offices. She truly is worthy of the office. She
also arranged to get us a lovely room that overlooked the fountains.
The were radiant in the sunlight and glistened when they were lit at
night. |
| I have been a member of the Society since 1979.
Every year I appreciate more and more that we are a Society to help
women grow both personally and professionally. Being a member
is one of my most treasured privileges. |
| I hope to see a record number of attendees in
Toronto next Summer! |
| All these fine ladies represented NJ in
Indianapolis. President Doris was pleased that the whole
delegation went out to dinner together one night! This group
held many jobs from timing speakers, chairing the Luncheon,
assisting and giving workshops. We would like to see this
group doubled in size next year in Toronto! |
